Step 2: Initial Consultation

Our team will schedule a consultation to understand your business needs and discuss how our apprenticeship program can benefit you.

Step 3: Customized Program Development

We’ll work with you to develop a tailored apprenticeship program that aligns with your company’s specific requirements and goals.

Step 4: Recruitment and Screening

Apprentice Alamance connects you with motivated students who meet the program’s requirements and are excited about your industry. Every fall, you will attend annual events to meet applicants and see if they are a good fit.

Step 5: Onboarding and Training

Once selected, apprentices will go through a structured onboarding process and receive ongoing support to ensure their success within your organization.

Your Commitment

You are critical to the success of our program. When you invest your time and resources into our program, you invest in our local workforce and opportunities for future generations. We expect our employer partners to be fully engaged in the positive impact we have on our communities.

Our employer partners must:

Meet with representatives of the consortium

Sign a CAP agreement and pay the consortium membership

Appoint a company mentor or apprenticeship supervisor

Meet with the NC Apprenticeship Consultant to set up your work process documents

Attend at least one Apprentice Alamance Employer meeting
